Our Simultaneous Translation System (Telecor, Made in Canada)
The Telecor TWIR TX900 is a Four-Channel Language Distribution System that utilizes infrared transmission. The system is used in conjunction with Telecor Interpreter’s Consoles (TIC-2s) to broadcast up to four translated languages. Receivers (TWIR RX22-4) are used by the conference or audience members to select and listen to the language of their choice through headphones.
The Telecor Interpreter’s Console (TIC-2) is a self-contained audio control center that allows an interpreter to monitor and interpret a language signal for broadcast to another language group. Used as a stand-alone unit, the TIC–2 is capable of handling dual language applications for sequential or simultaneous
interpretation. Used in tandem, multiple TIC-2s may be combined to handle up to four languages for simultaneous interpretation.
TWIR RX22-4 Receiver
The TWIR RX22-4 is an easy-to-use wireless receiver designed to allow its user to hear one of four language signals transmitted via infrared.
With the wireless receivers, the delegates have the freedom of unrestricted movement throughout the hall, and yet can receive the signal transmission from any location within the room. The number of delegates able to receive the signals from the infrared system is theoretically unlimited. A high level of security is ensured as infrared signals cannot pass through walls, remaining in the confines of the room
